What’s Included:

-TPI Physical Screener Assessment with additional TPI Functional Movement Screener included (In-person or virtual)

-Video analysis and breakdown of 15 Swing Characteristics. After purchasing the Screen & Swing Package, please submit two swing videos to [email protected], preferably a full-swing iron, one camera angle behind the player facing the target and another video that’s face-on from the side. Your body limitations assessed during the screener are a direct representation of an underlying compensation that is occurring during your swing. Analyzing the golf swing after the screener is the ultimate confirmation in assessing the body-swing connection.

-Full access to the TPI App, where you will be connected with Justin as your TPI Fitness Coach. The app will allow you to create your own profile, which will include your screener history, current golf fitness handicap, and personalized exercises in the routines tab. These movements and exercises are designed to challenge the areas where you have the most room for growth based on your physical screener results.

You’re only able to swing the club as effectively as your body will allow you to. Most teaching for the golf swing has focused on attempting to change the motion of the golfer without improving the golfer’s capacity to move.

The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) has designed a program to train Golf Professionals, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors and Medical Practitioners to understand the correlations between a golfer’s physical limitations and their swing characteristics. Justin Moffatt, TPI Fitness 2 Certified, will walk you through every step of the way during this process.

There will be 15 movements you will perform during the physical screener and 8 explosive movements performed during the functional movement screener, as medicine balls, jumps, pushes and pulls will be evaluated. Your results will serve as your initial baseline, identifying body limitations that may place you at an increased risk of injury or suppress your abilities to achieve the maximum potential of your golf swing. Understanding your personal body limitations will help you make enormous improvements to your swing techniques, effectively and safely.

TPI has created a unique measuring tool to grade your physical screener results. As you may be familiar with a Golf Handicap Index Number (GHIN), TPI has created a Golf Fitness Handicap (GFH) ranging from a +7 to 36 handicap. The better you perform on the screener, the lower your GFH will be. This number is a composite score, representing your strengths and weaknesses in mobility and motor control.
